In Honour of a Statesman — Rt. Hon. Raila A. Odinga (1945–2025) 🇰🇪
The Embassy of Kenya in Rabat joins our nation and African continent in mourning a son of Kenya whose voice and vision shaped generations. Rt.Hon. Raila Odinga was more than a leader-he was an idea, a spirit of resilience, and a symbol of unwavering belief in democracy, justice, and dignity of every Kenyan.
His life’s journey, marked by courage and sacrifice, gave hope and purpose to all. His name will endure in the chronicles of our Republic and in the conscience of Africa. We honour his lifelong dedication to democracy, justice, and the advancement of our nation and the continent.
His leadership and Pan-African vision will be remembered across the continent and the entire world. The Embassy extends its heartfelt condolences to Mama Ida Odinga, the Odinga family, and to all Kenyans as we celebrate the life and legacy of an indomitable statesman.
May his dream of a just, united, and prosperous Kenya live on in us all.
