Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Minister CHARLES MILUPI is representing President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA at the Funeral of former Kenyan Prime Minister RAILA ODINGA.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

And President HICHILEMA says Mr. ODINGA was a great statesman and pan-Africanist.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

President HICHILEMA says Mr. ODINGA has left an indelible mark on African politics, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The President has noted the longstanding and robust bilateral relations between Zambia and Kenya, emphasizing that in times of grief, nations come together to show solidarity.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

President HICHILEMA said this through Mr. MILUPI who represented him during a courtesy call on the late former Prime Minister’s family at his residence in Kenya.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And widow of the late Prime Minister IDAH ODINGA, expressed deep appreciation for President HICHILEMA’s message of condolence, noting that it was among the first she received following the announcement of her husband’s passing.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mrs. ODINGA recalled the warm relations between her family and Zambia, including their support during the 2025 CHAN tournament and cooperation in the African Union.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
